Stitch-binding processing is a final stage of overall printing technology process. To stitch brochures, books, journals and other printed materials we resort to stapling, metal spiraling and adhesive binding. Stitching with two metal staples – the cheapest, quickest and wide spread method of binding sheets for brochures and other publications with moderate number of sheets. Spiral binding is most commonly used mainly for binding calendars, notebooks, notepads etc. The spiral can be of diverse colors (depending on preferences of a customer) and of varied diameter (depending on the number of sheet). Adhesive binding (thermo adhesive or flexible binding) – used for capacious circulations with big number of sheets (catalogs, reports, books). |
